How to Add Simple Ajax Shoutbox in WordPress Sidebar

We will use Simple Ajax Shoutbox chat plugin which allows you to add chat box in your sidebar using the widget. This plugins Using AJAX and it automatically reloads messages so your users can see other visitor chat live

 

Download and Activated the Plugin

First of all, you need to download the Simple Ajax Shoutbox plugin from your WordPress plugins tab or download and upload manually. If you are new at installing plugins then read our step by step guide on how to install WordPress Plugins.
 

Configure And Display Chat 

Once you have downloaded and activated the plugin, then you need to add the chat widget to display the chat in your sidebar. So go to your WordPress admin panel and click on Appearance tab then widgets.

On the widgets tab you will see a new widget named Shortbox so you need to drag that widget into your sidebar and then click on save.

So once you done then will able see the shoutbox in your WordPress sidebar like below screenshot.
